Former Penn State Men’s Soccer Coach Bob Warming Announces Retirement

Former Penn State men’s soccer coach Bob Warming announced his retirement from coaching at the University of Nebraska at Omaha on Thursday. Warming left a legacy at Penn State as a men’s soccer coach from 2010-2017 and led the Nittany Lions to great accomplishments during his time in Happy Valley.
His 44 season career as a college football coach is filled with impressive records and awards that only scratch the surface of his coaching abilities. Warming coached over 60 players who transitioned to professional football, and in his Division I coaching career he racked up a total of 456 individual wins and 32 winning seasons.
While at Penn State, Warming was named Big Ten Conference Coach of the Year twice in 2012 and 2013 and is National Coach of the Year twice. He led the Nittany Lions to two Big Ten regular season titles and led the team to four NCAA Tournament appearances, where they twice qualified for the Sweet Sixteen.
The warm-up also played a huge role in organizing the annual Mack Brady game, football clinic and goaltending fund to honor football fanatic and Penn Stater at heart Mack Brady, who died suddenly in 2012 at the age of nine.
Following the 2017 season, Warming announced his retirement from Penn State. A few months later, in 2018, Warming came out of retirement to take over as head coach of Omaha, where he remained for four years.
