Georges St-Pierre shows off his abs by doing a shirtless handstand
Retired UFC champion Georges St-Pierre has a habit of throwing simple fitness challenges to his 3.3 million Instagram followers every week. Simple, however, doesn’t always mean easy to execute, as evidenced by this week’s tough maneuver of performing a 10-second balance without assistance.
In the clip, a shirtless St-Pierre performs the move with ease, displaying impressive balance while performing the move down his aisle and showing off his six pack abs. “Challenge of the week! Film yourself (side view) doing that 10 second handstand,” St-Pierre wrote in the caption of the article, offering to repost the video submitted by the reader in the best form.
While few of St-Pierre’s followers seemed eager to accept the MMA legend, they were quick to congratulate the 39-year-old martial artist for staying in such good shape during his retirement from professional fighting. âThis guy always looks like he’s fighting a UFC fighter or a superhero,â one wrote.
St-Pierre, of course, just played the role of Georges Batroc, aka Batroc the Leaper, in the Marvel series. The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Rumors also continue to circulate that St-Pierre is not training so quietly for a âsuper fightâ back against fellow retired legend Khabib Nurmagomedov.

Although both fighters denied that a fight was underway, they also didn’t hesitate to feed the rumor mill. Last week, St-Pierre broke the strategy he says he “used” to defeat Nurmagomedov in a fight. âI wouldn’t have been afraid of his struggle. I would have instigated. I would have forced the fight to move forward, âhe said.
“And that’s how I would have approached this fight, which I think most of his opponents were afraid of his fight because they didn’t have the tools I have to take him down”, a- he added.
If the fight were to finally take place, at least one thing is certain: St-Pierre will be in combat form.
