I’m a Hair Transplant Surgeon and Here’s Why Horny Guys Might Risk Hair Loss

A hair transplant surgeon has claimed that the most horny guys are the most likely to lose their hair.
Dr Umear Ahmad said that men who constantly masturbate might be doing themselves a disservice.

He said worried guys had quizzed him about whether masturbation was hurting their chances of enjoying luscious hair.
Dr. Ahmad, from the award-winning hair transplant clinic Juvidain Yorkshire explained that vitamin A deficiency is linked to hair loss.
Since vitamin A is found in semen, Dr. Ahmad suggested that excessive ejaculation could hypothetically cause depletion in the body and negatively impact the hairline.
There have not yet been any scientific studies to link masturabation to hair loss.


And Dr Ahmad reassured that men would have to “practically non-stop masturbating” to see a noticeable difference in their locks.
Dr Ahmad said: “When it comes to hair, many vitamins play a role – vitamin A is one of them and is found in semen.
“You would have to be quite severely deficient in vitamin A before you have a noticeable deterioration in the hairline.
“You should be masturbating pretty much non-stop throughout the day before it has any effect on your hair.
“Theoretically, if you’ve masturbated enough the answer is yes, but in practice it won’t really have any real effect on hair loss.”
While Dr. Ahmad suggests men keep their vitamin A levels high, one expert has previously warned that too much vitamin A is also a danger.
Abbas Kanani, pharmacist and medical expert at Click on the chemist, previously told The Sun: “Too much of certain vitamins in the long run can cause you to lose your hair. Specifically, too much vitamin A.
“If you consume too much of it and take too many retinol-type supplements, it can lead to an overload of the hair follicles, which means your hair will reach the end of the growth phase too quickly, which can lead to hair loss. “
People concerned about hair loss should consider eating a balanced diet rich in a variety of vitamins and minerals, says Dr. Ahmad.
Dr Ahmad said: “B vitamins, which include biotin, vitamins A, D and E, are among the vitamins that can be beneficial in addition to various minerals including iron, zinc and selenium.
“Most of these things can be obtained from a balanced diet rich in fruits and vegetables.
“If people have a good healthy diet, they probably don’t have to do anything else.
“There are supplements specifically designed for hair and nails.
“If you have a good, healthy, balanced diet, you probably don’t need to go this route.
“But if you’re having takeout twice a day, that might be something to consider.”
Another theory is that masturabiation increases testosterone, which in turn raises the hormone dihydrotestosterone – linked to hair loss.
But again, there are no real studies that show this.
What is clear is that genetics largely plays a role in hair loss.


The “baldness gene” is thought to be the cause of hair loss in men and thinning of the top of the head in women.
Diet, environment, stress, and other health issues can also cause hair loss, and sometimes there is no known cause.
