How does the billionaire behind the bat mask spend his free time? You’ll soon be able to dress, play and sweat like the Caped Crusader’s gadget-powered alter-ego — no bat signal required, but a trust fund could help — when Wayne Enterprises comes online this week. .
The luxury lifestyle brand was developed by Warner Bros. Consumer Products in conjunction with men’s shopping guide Uncrate.com, where it will be available for the first time exclusively from September 22. ) the finer things in life and will include high-end fashion, accessories, fitness equipment, electronics, housewares and personal care that you’ll find at the Wayne Manor Estate – or even parked in its above-ground garages .
For the first collection, Wayne Enterprises tapped into a slew of cool Uncrate-approved brands to create limited-edition, high-performance essentials with an edge that can withstand life in Gotham City. This includes moto-ready gear such as suede lace-up boots from Danner and Kevlar jeans from Nashville-based denim brand Imogene + Willie, as well as a structured wool jacket with a faux fur collar from Rogue Territory, handmade sunglasses by Barton Perreira (a Hollywood favorite also worn by fictional hero James Bond), watches from Bell & Ross and a watch winder from Kross Studio (also behind this Batman piece of $100,000).

“Our guiding motto is…it’s something that Wayne Enterprises would come up with to make Batman a better Batman,” says Robert Oberschelp, Warner Bros. Consumer Products SVP of Global Franchise Management & Global Brand Product. “Although the design looks really cool, there is also a bit of technology, a little something to make you stronger and better… [for example] if you look at denim, it’s made from a woven Kevlar technical fabric.
Batman debuted in 1939 and was imagined by artist Bob Kane and writer Bill Finger. Rather than directly referencing specific scenes in the DC Comics books, TV series and movies, Wayne Enterprises brand partners chose to draw inspiration from the mythos that is Wayne and his fictional multinational conglomerate, says Oberschelp. The Hollywood Reporter.
“Instead of looking at the Batman franchise, it’s ultimately about who Bruce Wayne is and what does he look like? It’s not [about] one actor or one brand,” he says of the non-Batman concept born nearly two years ago. “Uncrate understood our concept immediately… That’s how we identified [them] as the right partner to work together for this multi-category label.
A lot of their design partners “grew up with Batman and Bruce Wayne’s alter-ego, and being part of this label has made them very excited about the possibility of looking at something that isn’t focused on characters,” adds Oberschelp.
“Everything we have done is high-level and very useful know-how,” he continues. “We didn’t want to create a full line of watches, apparel or home products. It’s something that Bruce Wayne would have and this label is just the very beginning.
“[The team] worked closely with DC Comics to make sure the fandom is there,” but they stopped short of weaving any blatant Easter eggs. Oberschelp says the references are instead more subtle, like the sunglasses named after the crime-fighting mogul’s son, Damien.
The future of Wayne Enterprises encompasses entertainment and potentially even bigger toys, he adds. “Who knows, there might be a Wayne Enterprises car or a bat cave you could line up all your cars in.”
While you start looking at the classic cars you plan to stash at said Wayne Enterprises lair, you can pick it all up starting Thursday at Uncrate.
