Will Smith did a dive training in the deepest pool in the world
As Will Smith continues his fitness challenge to get in the best shape of his life at 52, no activity seems to be off limits, from barbell lifting routines in the gym to running with his friends and fellow YouTubers.
On his last adventure in Dubai, Smith took some time to visit what at first glance, at any rate, appears to be an upscale hotel pool for a quick swim workout. But as he reveals in the clip, the pool actually contains much, much more below the surface.
“A friend of mine told me I had to check out this pool,” he said, presenting the video while he was dressed in a full diving bodysuit. “There is something weird about this. Smith then dives his camera underwater to reveal an entire infrastructure of pipes and other objects surrounding a large porthole that leads to a deep, dark abyss.

“Diving deep, Dubai is on the verge of collapse,” he said. “The deepest pool in the world. 200 feet deep. Madness.” Although Smith didn’t provide fans with an update after his diving adventure, he took a moment to wish his son Jaden Smith a happy 23rd birthday in a later post, so it’s safe to assume he did well.
Smith’s various fitness-related adventures will eventually air as part of a YouTube series documenting his entire transformation. Since announcing his weight loss challenge in May, he’s also inspired several of his famous friends – and ordinary men – to join us, including Marlon Wayans, Anthony Anderson and Dr. Dre. No word, however, on whether or not we should expect to see Dre diving on the high seas anytime soon.
